The Cindi Joy boxed dolls have been moved here.

Cindi Joy had her own complete line of fashions and accessories. Though many styles were similar to Topper Dawn fashions, there were still many more that were unique to Cindi Joy. In addition, there are some JC Penney fashions that bear a striking resemblance to Cindi Joy fashions; in particular, the teal jumpsuit and the red gingham dress. None of Cindi's fashions were named.
Below is a picture of the back of a Cindi Joy fashion box.
You can see fairly clearly most of the Cindi Joy fashions that were available when they were produced.
Cindi Joy fashions are prized by collectors of Dawn and other miniature fashion dolls because of the quality of their construction and their variety of design. I've left this image as large as I can so you can see the details.
Blue and gold gown similar to Topper's "Bluebelle" Green and white jumpsuit with sash and overwrap
Green faux-leopard print skirt set similar to the white version that came on the second-issue doll
There's nothing quite like seeing the outfit on the doll, so I've included a few of mine here. This skirt set has a "Peter Pan"-style hat of the same leopard-print fabric, but I didn't get one until after the photo was taken.
Pink gown with white lace trim; this varies from the picture on the box, showing it with black lace.
Peachy-pink jumpsuit with sash and overwrap; came with pink princess telephone
This outfit also came in a green box. I have not been able to determine which boxes were the initial release for the fashions.
Purple skating dress with hat and skates; the skates are highly sought-after by collectors
Purple dress with white princess phone
Pink vinyl raincoat as seen on the back of the fashion box. This vinyl material splits easily along the welds, and care must be taken in dressing the doll. You can see the brim separating from the rest of the hat. In addition, the material is very stiff, and doesn't drape very well, making the doll stand with her arms out from her sides.
The skating outfit came in at least three variations of purple: a solid purple (not shown); a lighter, more red-violet color shown above at right; and a striped two-tone purple shown above at left. The sleeves and trim are a thin, fuzzy chenille-like material which frays easily. The matching hat is tied with satin ribbons. Both these are missing the glasses.
White raincoat with red trim and hat, shown in both white and green boxes
Purple skirt set with hat
Purple skirt set shown on 1st-issue blonde Cindi Joy. Missing the white satin bag-purse with the purple strap.
Red, white and blue poncho set, still attached to card
Red, white and blue poncho set, on the doll, but missing the white purse (not that you could see it under there, anyway!)
Wedding dress with veil
Red vinyl raincoat and hat with white mini
Red vinyl raincoat and hat, but this mini has red vinyl accents
(Someone sent me this picture, but I forgot to document. Please contact me so I can credit you; thanks!)
Second-issue Cindi wearing the red raincoat; no white mini, though
Red satin dress with white lace trimming; this varies from the picture on the box, showing it with black lace.
Red and white checked dress and hat with sash and poodle
Red ruffle-front skirt with white satin blouse
Light teal coat and hat with white faux-fur trim; faux-fur muff. Shown MIB in both green and white boxes.
Red dress with white princess phone; boxed version of first issue stock dress.
Below, 1st issue Cindi in this dress as a stock mini.
Dark teal jumpsuit and hat with white satin blouse
Teal green skirt suit and hat with pink shell blouse; shown in both green and white boxes. Mort Alexander Co. must have been very fond of that dark teal velour.
White tennis mini and long pants with red and blue trim; tennis racket and glasses
Second-issue Cindi in the tennis outfit. Missing glasses and original racket with attached ball and racket cover.
Red "Sailor" mini and hat
Close-up of red "Sailor" mini and hat
First-issue Cindi in the red and blue "Sailor" mini. Missing heart pendant and original blue purse.
But check out those blue boots!
Second-issue Cindi in her stock skirt set. If you look at the boxed second-issue doll on Cindi's main page, you'll see she wears this fashion.
Cindi in the peachy-pink jumpsuit with overwrap. Missing pearl necklace and telephone.
More Cindi Joy fashions will be added as they come into my collection. I have recently acquired the light teal coat and hat, the purple dress, and the green jumpsuit with the white faux-fur trim (no overwrap/cape, sadly). I will post pictures as soon as I've taken them.
